The Renault Clio Cup joined the World Series by Renault Festival this weekend at Donington Park Circuit, and in front of a 90,000 strong crowd and 300 Renault VIP's Stephen brought home two workmanlike fifth places to strengthen his third overall position in the championship.

Throughout both races, he was in the front running bunch, until the later stages, where he struggled with understeer as his tyres degenerated in race 1. A clash whilst passing his team-mate in race 2, resulted in bent steering which hampered his speed for the remainder of the race.

He would like to thank all the team at Renault Minute, Rapide Bodycare and Renault Insurance for a great event and the host of support he had from the event team and their guests.

Round nine of the championship takes Stephen to Brands Hatch on September 23rd to 24th where he intends to chase down second place in the championship overall.
