After testing times that topped the charts at the rainy East Anglian, Snetterton Circuit this weekend, Stephen Colbert and his Renault Aftersales racing Clio, were out to put a firm stamp on a championship position.
As the heavens continued to open on Saturday, Colbert made his way up the grid from the start of race one, from 11th into 4th position by lap four and was able to take the chequered flag with strong points.
Race two brought sunshine and another raging start, putting Stephen into 3rd place as he challenged for the podium. Running wide at Sear Corner in a closing lap, allowed a competitor through, finishing in 4th position.
A solid weekend, strengthens the Renault Aftersales lead on third position in their Clio Cup assault, with second place firmly in his sights.
